
Kathie Hoffman
Kathie has been acting and singing since grade school. She enjoys makeing people laugh, even if it is at her own expense. She enjoys all aspects of theater from acting, to directing, to all the technical aspects. Kathie has been with the Platte County Players since 1980. Thank you for all you do Kathie!

Merlin Hitt
What to say about Merlin? Platte County Players and the Wheatland Drama Club is alive and well due to his efforts. He produces show after show, builds set after amazing set, directs all the WHS productions, and takes the WHS club to compete in the Wyoming State Drama competition every year. No only that, he manages to do all that while tolerating all of our very talented and energetic teenagers in the WHS Drama club! We apprieciate him SO MUCH!

Kalyn Krotz
Kalyn moved to Wheatland in 2008 and has been actively involved with the Players ever since. We are so happy to have her! Kalyn has directed three productions, and is now assisting Merlin Hitt with the WHS Drama club as well. Kalyn has been an invaluable asset to our community and our players. She is a 2004 graduate from Chadron State and she and her husband Tony, and new daughter Zoey have made wonderful additions to Wheatland!
Pat has been involved with the Players for many years, and most recently directed the 2010 Summer production "Hillbilly Weddin".

Valerie Martin
You have seen her in “Just Desserts”, 2007 summer’s show “Ivory Keys goes Over Seas”, and Valerie played “Lady Agatha Mortimer” in 2008 summer production "Sherlock Holmes - Hound of the Baskervilles".
Val has been involved with the Platte County Players and the WHS Drama club for several years. She loves being involved with such vibrant and active people!

Penny has been in several summer productions with the Platte County Players, and is Merlin's assistant with the WHS Drams Club. She braves the trip to the State Drama Compitition as a chaperone every year, and for THAT she deserves a medal!

Roy Glover
Roy's debut with the Platte County Players came in 2008 when Roy played "Dr. Watson" Sherlock Holmes' right hand man in "Sherlock Holmes - Hound of the Baskervilles".
Roy moved to Wheatland from Manhattan Kansas. He is originally from Frankfort Indiana where he participated in "Annie" as Daddy Warbucks. Roy is also an avid gamer, loves role playing and is an enthusiastic Renaissance participant.
